Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Reporting to the Senior Finance Administrator, the primary purpose of the Finance Administrator is to support the accounting and project administration processes and systems to facilitate smooth project delivery and produce high-quality reporting. This includes but is not limited to general ledger maintenance, payroll, work order administration, Purchase Order creation/management and client billing. This is a permanent full-time position offering flexible working conditions with our office based out of Dandenong South. Other responsibilities as required: Financial administration including capital and recurrent accounting and book-keeping Accounts payable - Purchase Order creation/management Accounts Receivable – Client Billing Managing project subcontractor claim processing and retention release Completing supplier setups and general account maintenance Reconciling Vendor account and troubleshooting issues via SAP Provide general Finance administrative assistance and completion of ad hoc project finance reports as required including month-end reporting, processing of direct cost/Overhead and accrual journals About You The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Degree in Finance accompanied by: Experience with ERP software (particularly SAP / Ariba) Excel Intermediate to Advanced skills Understanding of construction industry practices and legislation Demonstrated experience at a project level in equivalent industry Strong analytical skills to problem solve and provide innovation SAP and Power BI knowledge and experience desirable Experience in working capital and cash flow management Knowledge of finance and administration responsibilities, including purchase order management, and timesheet and payroll processing Experience in general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
