Job Description
THE ROLE: The Finance Branch is looking for talented individuals to fill the Finance Business Partner role at the EL1 level. This position sits within the Finance Business Partnering team. You will provide support and advice to Digital & IT Services team within Austrade and support the Agency in achieving its financial goals and outcomes.Your strengths will be your strong client focus and commitment to providing effective, professional service to your Austrade colleagues. You will use your ability to identify insights and to influence to support financial decision making within the Austrade leadership. Additionally, you will have highly developed organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail. Support financial decision making within the Digital & IT Services team to achieve positive financial outcomes through activities such as spend and budget management. Collaborate with the broader CFO team to generate insights into financial planning and analysis and implement budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures. Mature the financial acumen of the business. Liaise with other organisational Business Partners to drive consolidated planning & reporting. Develop and maintain a broad range of relationships to influence within the Agency at the peer and senior levels, and positively influence external stakeholders. Create and support an environment, which fosters collaboration and accountability to promote a trust-based, inclusive culture.
