About the Role The Group Performance team is a highly visible team that helps drive business decision making through the interpretation and communication of current and forecasted Coles Group financial performance to the Board and Executive leadership team. The remit of the team means it is uniquely positioned to understand what is happening across all parts of the business. As a Finance Business Partner in Group Performance, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality analysis, insights on drivers of business performance, budgeting, and forecasting. This role includes facilitating and delivering Group balance sheet & cash flow forecasting and reporting across the business planning and reporting cycle. You will also: Provide increased understanding to senior stakeholders of the Group balance sheet & cash flow and key drivers behind it to support financial performance outcomes and decision making, develop balance sheet / cash flow forecasts, make recommendations to optimize financial position and drive ownership and buy-in across the business. Support business wide planning processes including budget, forecasts and corporate plan. Preparation of monthly reporting for the Executive Leadership Team providing insights on drivers of business performance. Support the Investor Relations team in delivering the quarterly and half yearly results releases. Work as a team player, influencing, coaching and engaging across the business and within the team to drive continuous improvements across planning systems and processes and enhance system usage. About You and Your Skills We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner with a continuous improvement mindset and track record of execution. This role is best suited to someone with experience working with complex organisations, and confident simplifying complex financial information for both financial and business stakeholders. You will also have: CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience. Demonstrated proficiency in financial systems within a commercial environment e.g. Microsoft Office applications (inc. Excel, Powerpoint), TM1, SAP. Experience in a large, fast-paced commercial business, with preference of exposure to balance sheet and cash flow forecasting and reporting. Proven experience of delivering results in a retail or FMCG environment desirable. What’s in it for You?
