Finance Business Partner - Professional Services Apply now Job no: WWREQ0028819Employment type: Full TimeLocation: PerthCategories: Commercial & Finance About the opportunity Kinetic IT are currently looking for an accomplished Finance Business Partner to join their team within Strategic Finance managing the professional services portfolio. Key responsibilities of the role: Undertake detailed financial performance analysis in a matrix environment to validate, understand, interpret and provide clarity to key stakeholders Bridge analysis and commentary against key reference benchmarks Weekly and monthly analytical review of KPI’s and financial results Revenue validation and review including the management of invoice plans, review and approval of WIP and Deferred Revenue across pricing structures Overhead Cost management and spend review Development of business processes and system knowledge in collaboration with the Finance and Commercial Transactional functions to better understand business drivers impacting financial performance Short term resource utilisation planning and review across chargeable, billable, investment and overhead benchmarks for Base and Discretionary pricing structures Sustainment of a robust monthly and long-range financial forecasting process feeding into/from strategic, business and horizon planning processes over the various business planning cycles. Includes timely and accurate preparation, analysis, interpretation and presentation of schedules with close partnering and collaboration with the business Manage the maintenance, integrity and improvement of financial reports including dashboards, FTE reporting, project reporting etc. Working with Business Systems & Intelligence, actively participate in the continual improvement and adoption of financial information through the utilisation ERP Reporting & Business Intelligence systems capabilities. Maintaining pricing models and billing mechanisms including analytical and modelling support in the development of project proposals and variations/scenarios. Assist Strategic Finance function in providing analytical and modelling support as required in the development of tender/proposal bids, project proposals and contract variations/scenarios. Develop and maintain cost allocation models for distribution of shared overheads with a logical and transparent methodology Keen to get involved? You’ll just need some of the following: 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Management Accounting Experience in working with large corporate organizations, especially those with a professional service and project-based focus. Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field CA/CPA qualification in progress or completed Strong attention to details, reconciliation skills and analytical approach to problem solving Ability to forge robust working relationships within Business Services and across functions Financial analytical capabilities and solid financial storytelling skills The Kinetic IT difference Permanent Opportunity: A stable and secure career path.
