The Finance Business Partner will partner and provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects for the Commercial Revenue division. With a commercial leadership focus, this role will ensure the appropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to maximise revenue across the QA commercial ecosystem, including passenger revenue and Qantas Frequent Flyer revenue. This role sits at the heart of the International business with a remit across the entire International revenue organisation including our joint business’ and Alliances. You will be responsible for shaping key aspects of business strategy, leading forecasting and performance delivery as well as identifying and delivering on revenue opportunity initiatives. You’ll be accountable for: Delivering appropriately controlled, accounted for and understood financial results across the entire P&L and Balance Sheet (e.g. RRIA & QFF RNA) Producing revenue forecasts/budgets and insightful information for management reporting and decision making Identification of key performance gaps through analysis against business drivers (route groups, customer segments, channels, POS) Management & performance reporting, linking financial and non-financial key performance indicators and communicating results to key stakeholders to inform short and long term strategic priorities Identifying and developing initiatives to enhance process efficiency, performance and value of reporting mechanisms Managing and closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into finance planning Managing Internal Audit and Risk & Management responsibilities Leading, developing, and implementing critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders Providing coaching and mentoring to the team to ensure their growth, development, and performance You’ll have: 5-7 years+ relevant experience Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline Extensive financial knowledge and experience (CPA/CA/equivalent) Ability to positively influence stakeholders to overcome roadblocks to deliver successful outcomes. Superior communication and influencing skills Intellectual capability to quickly understand, apply, and embed new concepts in a complex business environment Strong sense of urgency, focus on outcomes and drive for success Ability to work in cross functional teams and to lead to successful business outcomes Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting objectives in order to deliver key milestones Demonstrated analytical, financial and/or problem solving skills Why Qantas?
