Our opportunity As Data Governance Analyst , you will serve as a key partner to Business Users of Mirvac’s new enterprise platforms and process.The team will drive a culture of continuous improvement, user adoption, governance and optimising practices driving the benefits sought by the Mirvac Next program. The Data Governance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial information and metrics across integrated finance systems. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing data governance policies, metric definitions and processes to align data across platforms, improve data quality, and support strategic decision-making within the organisation. In this role you will be responsible for: Metric Management Manage the definition, interpretation and evolution of key financial metrics across Mirvac’s integrated finance systems Ensure any changes are appropriately considered and flowed through on an end to end basis. Master Data Consistency Collaborate with Digital, finance, and other stakeholders to design and implement master data integration processes that facilitate seamless data flow between finance systems. Develop data mapping and transformation rules to align data structures and definitions across platforms, minimizing discrepancies, including consistency of Metric definitions across systems Reporting and Analytics Support the finance and analytics teams by providing consistent, high-quality data to enhance reporting and decision-making. Partner with Finance and digital teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure accurate representation of data across financial reports. Data Quality Management Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across finance systems. Conduct regular data quality assessments, audits, and validations to identify and address inconsistencies and errors in financial data including system reconciliations Compliance and Documentation Monitor compliance with data governance standards, mitigating risks associated with data errors and inconsistencies. Your point of difference To be successful, you will have prior experience working in a large, complex organisation with multiple finance systems integrations. You have strong skills in data mapping and data quality assessment techniques. You will be experienced in finance, data and analytics, information systems, ERP systems or related fields. You have a continuous improvement mindset, extensive problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will operate as part of a cross-functional team, and educate stakeholders on governance best practices.
