Role overview: The Director of Finance & IT is a crucial member of the executive team, tasked with overseeing the company's financial stability, enhancing performance, building IT infrastructure, and implementing growth strategies throughout the APAC region. This role integrates leadership in financial management, strategic planning, and operational effectiveness to foster long-term business growth. In addition, the Director of Finance & IT will report directly to the Managing Director and will lead a team of three direct reports. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with business goals. Advise the Managing Director and executive team on investments, decisions, and financial risks. Oversee preparation of financial statements, maintaining transparency and accountability. Manage relationships with global teams, ensuring smooth audits and tax compliance. Monitor financial controls to prevent fraud, errors, and mismanagement. Manage cash flow and working capital to maintain liquidity and support growth. Lead and mentor the finance and IT team to promote a culture of accountability, performance, and growth. Strengthen the finance function by developing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation. Act as the main contact for investors, lenders, and financial stakeholders. Work with senior leadership to align financial goals with business strategies for growth and profitability. Implement technology solutions to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency. Utilise financial data and analytics to support better decision-making and business intelligence. Manage and develop secure, scalable financial systems to ensure robustness and reliability. Profile: 10+ years in finance, accounting, and leadership, with 5+ years in a senior role within FMCG. CA and CPA certifications; Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, MBA preferred. Strong experience in strategic financial planning, reporting, risk management, and investment oversight. Expertise in financial systems (e.g., Business Dynamics), accounting software, and financial reporting standards. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in Australia and New Zealand. Proven leadership skills with a track record of mentoring high-performing finance teams. Advanced proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
