12 month Part Time Contract with view of permanency Immediate Start, C. $140,000-160,000 + Super p.a.FTE About Our Client Our client is a well-established player in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. They are a large organisation that operates on a global scale, but is only at the early stage of establishing and growing their team out of Australia.They are focused on delivering high-quality services and driving continuous growth. Job Description Your role within the team for the 3 days will be: Financial and management reporting for the entity Be responsible for the functioning of daily finance processes of the entity Control and coordinate financial and statutory matters of the entity with the internal Global Financial Services team and external service provider Month end close Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and documented Develop our accounting processes while also being able to perform certain routine tasks by yourself Develop entity's reporting processes Review and analyse company financial reports and results Manage the preparation of the entity's budget and agreed KPIs Prepare rolling financial forecasts for Group reporting Business Partner with the GM Together with the General Manager ensure the general compliance of the company (audits (statutory and possible internal), legal compliance with regional legal function, risk management, overview tax and customs issues as well as certain other compliance processes) The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance or a related field; CPA or CA qualified. Minimum 5 years of related finance work experience Solid financial accounting and reporting knowledge Strong analytical skills and concern for quality Very strong understanding of IFRS and local tax/regulatory rules Good working knowledge on ERP/accounting system, Google and Microsoft tools Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team Ability to influence others without a formal position What's on Offer An attractive salary package with a range Sustainability focused business with a 'for purpose approach' Be a part of a global juggernaut in the renewables space that continues to see Australia as a high-growth market A supportive and friendly work environment.
