We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead our financial management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in compliance and financial operations. This role is crucial in supporting our strategic objectives and ensuring rigorous adherence to tax regulations and internal controls both here in Australia and the US. Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including general ledger maintenance, monthly financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial decision-making, provide strategic insights, develop financial models, and ensure alignment with business objectives for sustainable growth. Tax Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Manage AU and US state and federal tax filings with a focus on full regulatory compliance. Assist in preparing transfer pricing documentation and ensure adherence to R&D tax credits and incentive programs, particularly in the US and Australia. Payroll Management: Collaborate with the People & Culture team to oversee payroll management, currently handled by third-party providers. Internal Controls & Reporting: Establish robust internal controls and ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Growth Mindset: Continuously enhance financial processes with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability to support our company’s growth trajectory. Qualifications and Experience CA/CPA accreditation is required. Proven experience as a Global Finance Manager or similar role, with strong expertise in compliance, audits, and tax management. Knowledge of U.S. state and federal tax systems, payroll, and international taxation. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or tech-driven environment. Proficiency in MYOB and Dynamics 365; advanced Excel skills are essential. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
