Job Description
At Phillip Riley, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in VIC. As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, making improvements to procedures and controls, as well as handling ad-hoc projects and requests as they arise. Main Tasks include: Prepare financial reports Reduce or maintain costs Cashflow forecasting Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices Liaise with auditors for annual monitoring Identify cost-reduction opportunities Manage employees in the financial department Manage compliance requirements Prepare monthly management accounts Supervise financial staff Advise on investment activities Aid management in financial decisions Collect, interpret, and review financial information Determine profitability Formulate strategic and long-term business plans Manage audit processes of current systems Implement, monitor, review, and evaluate budgetary and accounting strategies, policies, and plans in consultation with other Managers Provide financial information and interpret the implications for business performance and funding needs Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting systems Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
