Job Description

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer and approximately 185 employees. Applications are sought from experienced Payroll Officers to join the Finance Team at the Howard Springs campus on a 6-month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension), with commencement as soon as possible. The Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate, timely and compliant payroll function, including processing fortnightly pays using PaysOnline, calculating and responding to employee queries, maintaining payroll records and other duties as directed by the Finance Manager. The position requires a person with acute attention to detail, excellent customer service, a focus on quality and a desire to continuously improve organisational practices. Recent Australian payroll experience is essential. Applicants with experience and having worked in a similar environment would be preferred.
