What is the role: Financial Adviser (Insurance Specialist) Hours/days: Full-time What type of remuneration is offered: Base + Super + Company-wide bonuses Location: Work from home (Or Greensborough if you would like an office space) Responsibilities include: Initial client engagement to determine if they are a good fit for the business Work with the support team for the initial research and prepare clients' insurance proposals (Statement of advice). Client communication including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings. Work with the support team on the implementation of insurance applications and updating insurers or clients as to the state of an application. Manage ongoing client communication and questions. Once a month attending junior adviser meetings - This will give you a chance to provide feedback and coach newer advisers. You will be working predominantly with all new to insurance clients who have been referred into the business and the biggest benefit is that there is no requirement to be prospecting for your own clients! About you What attributes should you have? A growth mindset & someone who is coachable Willing to speak up and give constructive feedback Ability to simplify complex personal insurance terms Organised and efficient with your time. Great email, time, and task management skills Great with technology Self-motivated You don't take yourself too seriously. What experience do you require? Ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience as a financial planner, specialising in insurance advice, however, newer advisers are encouraged to apply as we may have other positions available. On top of this the below is expected: High level of expertise in using insurance quoting software Experience lodging insurance applications Detailed understanding of the insurance underwriting process and likely outcomes. What Qualifications do you require? FASEA Approved & on the adviser register. This would be a great fit for? In the 2023 calendar year, we helped put in place 642 new policies and are on track for more growth.
