This role is a 12-month maternity leave cover, based in Brisbane CBD, and offers the chance to support critical financial processes for capital expenditure and joint ventures. The successful candidate will be asked to hit the ground running and start as soon as possible.What you'll do: As a Financial Analyst, your role will be pivotal in managing month-end accounting processes, overseeing capital expenditure, and ensuring the smooth operation of joint venture financials. You'll prepare and review monthly reports, provide valuable insights into performance, and assist with audits. Your collaborative approach will enable you to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Manage month-end accounting processes, including journal preparation and maintaining the integrity of financial ledgers. Oversee capital expenditure and joint venture financial data, ensuring governance and compliance with established processes. Prepare and review monthly reports for capital projects and joint ventures, providing insight into performance. Support budget and forecast preparation for capital and joint venture-related expenses. Assist with audits by providing transaction data and facilitating reviews. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and smooth financial operations. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst role will bring a CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) along with their experience in financial analysis. Your proficiency in SAP or similar systems will be crucial in this role. Your strong communication skills will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll also have experience working with joint venture financials. Immediate availability is required.CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent). Experience in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of capital expenditure and joint venture processes. Proficiency in SAP or similar financial management systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, experience working with joint venture financials. Must be immediately available to start and have no planned holidays for the next 8 months to ensure consistency in coverage for the role.
