Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Sharpe Engineering is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst (Manufacturing) to support and enhance our recently implemented Epicor Kinetic ERP system through data-driven insights in a standard cost environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with a strong costing/manufacturing/inventory skill-set looking to make their next move into a leading business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement and maintain cost standards for materials and labour, including regular reviews of depreciation, labour, and overhead rates. Ensure accurate costing of inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) through regular updates and maintenance of standard costs. Review and report on price, production, and margin variance analysis. Provide reporting and analysis on raw materials, WIP, finished goods inventory, and rental equipment pool to support supply chain and operations. Work closely with procurement for material cost movements. Reconcile inventory and WIP to the general ledger. Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support commercial decision-making. Continual system and process improvements. What we’ll be looking for in you: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CIMA/CPA Qualified or studying towards. Knowledge of product accounting and standard costing with advanced Excel skills. Ability to extract and interrogate data, preferably with SQL query writing experience. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. You will have a confident and engaging interpersonal skill-set.
