About the Role We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. As the Finance Business Partner, you support the Area Financial Controller to ensure accounting practices remain accurate and compliant, adding professional value to the Finance Department in performing all financial tasks with integral competency. Core Functions of your Role Assist with reporting requirements, reporting templates and the analysis of financial information Review and maintain adequate internal controls and procedures Monitor and manage cash holding, banking and surprise counts Process due backs and reconciliation of any discrepancies Maintain and generate daily, weekly and monthly reports Assist with general ledger reviews and reconciliations Provide administrative assistance to the Finance team with day-to-day operations needs About you Strong communication skills are needed to proficiently explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders and successfully collaborate with all Hotel departments and management team to achieve financial objectives. You will hold a tertiary qualification, be a qualified accountant and hold full-time working rights in Australia. The role requires clear written and spoken English skills, accompanied by a mature, pleasant attitude. Demonstrated experience in carrying out accounts functions including maintaining a ledger in a large organisation Demonstrated experience in the allocation of revenue and the matching of relevant financial transactions to the bank statement Working knowledge of GST Strong analytical and numerical skills, possessing a high attention to detail Ability to effectively time manage large workloads, meet deadlines and perform well in pressure situations Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills Authentic interpersonal & communication style Experience within a 5 Star branded Hotel operation Benefits and Perks The opportunity to work with industry professionals in an exciting hotel environment Great opportunities for career development Staff meals provided on shift An attractive food and beverage discount program How to Apply If you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
