Our client has diverse business interests across retail and property development/management and is embarking on an exciting period of expansion in 2025. Due to an internal promotion, they require an experienced FC or CFO to provide leadership and growth, supporting the CEO and department heads. You will review and execute strategic plans across the business and drive efficiencies and timelines, including upgrading IT systems and reporting tools, to create a paperless office. You will also implement strategies to reduce costs in procurement. Key Responsibilities: Assess KPI's for acquisitions and developments, ensuring they meet ROI criteria. Develop sales targets and budgets across the group. Ensure developments are within budget and provide support to the Development Manager. Review variations and reconcile progress payments. Liaise with banks and manage requirements for loan applications. Direct supervision of 14 staff (5 in accounts). Oversee the preparation of monthly P&L and budgets. Manage licensing requirements. With the assistance of a Finance Manager, you will also: Develop growth plans and budgets. Report monthly and annually to the CEO. Manage cash flows. Monitor budget performance against KPIs. Our ideal applicant will be CA/CPA qualified and must have worked in a medium to large sized business with a team of direct reports. You should be a strong, confident leader to directly manage 14 office staff and indirectly manage over 200 operational staff, as this business continues to expand.
