Sydney or Melbourne (other locations to be considered) Permanent role Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, 10 February 2025 The team The Enterprise Services Group consists of four teams including Finance, Procurement, Property and Contracts, Performance Reporting and Planning and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The Group team provides a range of support, advice and analysis services across ASIC. The Financial Framework unit sits within the Finance team and is responsible for ensuring adherence to Commonwealth financial frameworks. In addition, the unit contributes to the development and upkeep of financial policies to ensure currency with legislative requirements that support the achievement of ASIC objectives. The role As a Financial Framework Advisor you will: Assist with compliance reporting and maintain knowledge of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Resource Management Framework Monitor compliance obligations, review transaction analysis, and conduct research for policy development Maintain and promote policies, procedures, and education programs to ensure regulatory compliance Monitor legislative developments, market trends, professional standards, and best practices to identify and act on opportunities for improvement or compliance requirements Oversee administration of the Corporate Card and Comcover Insurance policies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders About you You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in either Accounting, Finance or Commerce, with CPA or CA certification (or working towards it) A strong understanding of the PGPA Act paired with your excellent analytical skills, and knowledge of compliance processes will help you thrive in this role Additionally, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in this role About ASIC ASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
