About the Role Are you ready to lead the charge in shaping financial policies and frameworks? As the Manager (APS6), Financial Frameworks and Assurance, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our financial environment complies with the Public Governance and Performance Accountability (PGPA) Act 2013, government policy and Agency requirements. You'll drive our business outcomes with autonomy and innovation. Your mission: maintain our financial governance environment, develop cutting-edge policies, ensure compliance with financial and procurement rules, and oversee new systems and processes. You'll be at the heart of delivering comprehensive compliance and assurance reporting, significantly impacting our Agency’s success. You'll also develop and roll out training programs for financial policy and operational procedures, empowering our team with essential knowledge and skills. Your exceptional stakeholder engagement skills will enable effective communication and collaboration with diverse audiences, driving positive change across the Agency. What You’ll Bring Expertise in Government Legislation: You have a solid background in working with government legislative frameworks, specifically the PGPA Act 2013, and other relevant laws and regulations. Financial Governance Mastery: Your deep understanding of financial governance, policies, and frameworks will enable you to maintain and enhance our financial operations to the highest standards. Compliance and Assurance: Keen eye for detail to ensure adherence to legislative requirements and related policies. Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to develop and implement new systems, processes, and procedures, driving success and efficiency. Training and Development: Skilled in developing and delivering training programs for financial policy and operational procedures. Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and engagement skills for effective collaboration with diverse audiences. Autonomy and Initiative: Thrive in an autonomous environment, driving business outcomes and supporting team goals. Additional Information Ability to obtain and maintain national police check. Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
