Opportunities in Financial Lines If you’re a talented lawyer with an interest in professional indemnity, litigation, coverage, or financial lines, let’s chat. If you know exactly what area you want to specialise in, great - we’ll support you in developing deep expertise. If you prefer a mix of work across financial lines, we can make that happen too. We have exciting opportunities for lawyers at all levels, from 2+ PQE to Senior Associates. Our team advises leading domestic and international insurers on high-profile and complex matters, shaping the future of financial lines litigation. Depending on your expertise and career aspirations, you could work across: Construction-related professional indemnity matters : Handling disputes involving engineers, architects, and building professionals. Solicitors' professional indemnity claims and environmental liability matters : Providing expert advice on claims against legal practitioners and issues related to environmental liabilities. Coverage aspects of financial lines : Advising on high stakes indemnity disputes and policy interpretation matters. Directors and Officers Liability : Defending directors and officers in claims related to their corporate roles. Fidelity and Crime and Financial Institutions : Addressing issues of fraud, employee dishonesty, and financial misconduct, while advising banks, investment firms, and other financial entities on liability and compliance matters. Management and Professional Liability : Handling claims involving mismanagement, employment practices, fiduciary duties, and defending various professionals, including accountants and consultants, against negligence claims. Warranty and Indemnity : Providing guidance on insurance policies related to mergers and acquisitions. Who you are 2+ years’ PQE with experience in professional indemnity, litigation, coverage, or financial lines. Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills. A collaborative approach and a commitment to excellence. Confidence to take ownership of matters and drive them forward. A desire to grow your career in a leading insurance and risk practice.
