About the Company Our client is an industry body responsible for setting the professional standards of their area and providing ongoing education and accreditation to their members on a national level. With a Brisbane based Head Office and offices nationally, they are continuing to grow and identify opportunities to provide further support to members. About the Role Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within a small yet highly performing team, you will be one of two financial analysts supporting the ongoing growth and efficiency of the business and operations, developing models and providing insights to assist strategic decision making. The key responsibilities will include: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, trends and variances to identify key drivers of performance. Budgeting and Forecasting. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and decision making – including revenue forecasting, cost analysis and investment evaluation. Assist in preparation of financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics, trends and variance analysis. Develop reports and dashboards to assist the business with financial reporting. Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with Business units to gather data, understand business drivers, and facilitate communication regarding financial performance and objectives. About You At least degree qualified with a Bachelor of Business or Commerce, you will have demonstrated experience working as either a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or Analyst, developing meaningful reporting and providing insights to support decision making. Strong verbal and written communication is essential and you will need to be able to communicate financial concepts easily to non-finance people. Advanced Excel is essential and experience using Power BI is highly desired, but not essential. What’s on Offer?
