We are currently seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, thrive in a team environment, and possess strong project delivery skills. About the Role: Located in our Adelaide CBD office, you will work closely with Senior Engineers and Directors to provide high-quality designs for clients across various sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include: Producing Fire drawings and documents in line with Australian Standards, codes, and guidelines. Overseeing and providing expertise on both active and passive fire designs. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery. Keeping up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in fire engineering and building services. Developing and implementing best practices to improve design quality and efficiency. Proficiency in fire and smoke design software tools. Writing technical reports. Delivering projects on schedule, ensuring technical accuracy. Collaborating with clients and other design team members for seamless project delivery. Engaging with clients and project stakeholders. Conducting site inspections and auditing projects at various stages of construction. About You: The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification preferred. Experience with fire services design software. Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. A self-motivated, energetic personality capable of managing deadlines and client expectations. The ability to work independently on multiple projects with a high attention to detail. Over 5 years of experience in fire engineering for building services, including leadership roles. A commitment to continuous improvement. A client-focused mindset dedicated to high-quality outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and clients. A comprehensive understanding of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code. Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating with design engineers and architects. Australian residency.
