Fire Project Manager | Fire Protection | Construction | Wet & Dry Systems Our client is a privately owned Australian business delivering high-quality wet and dry fire installation projects and services. Highly regarded amongst its industrial and commercial client base and with a firm commitment to outstanding service, they now seek an experienced Fire Project Manager for their construction projects. The Role As a Wet & Dry Fire Project Manager, you will oversee and manage all phases of fire protection projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. You will develop and implement strategies to achieve financial, business, and team goals. Responsibilities include leading and managing teams, maintaining a safe work environment, and fostering client relationships to maximize returns. Responsibilities Project Management : Oversee both wet and dry fire projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and progress monitoring. Team Coordination : Lead planning sessions, coordinate staff and subcontractors, and manage labour requirements. Client and Stakeholder Relations : Develop and maintain relationships, ensuring high-level engagement and positive outcomes. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with regulations, manage project variations, and implement risk mitigation plans. Procurement and Reporting : Coordinate purchasing and delivery of supplies and conduct project reviews with detailed reporting for management. About You As an experienced Dry and Wet Fire Project Manager with a customer-focused “can do” attitude and excellent communication skills, you will also have: Fire Project Management Expertise : Extensive experience in managing wet and dry fire projects, with knowledge of NCC and Australian standards. Leadership and Team Management : Proven leadership skills to guide project teams to successful completion, with strong organizational abilities. Technical Proficiency : Skilled in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and contracts, with proficiency in CAD, HYENA calculations, and Microsoft Office. Qualifications and Experience : Holds relevant trade or tertiary qualifications, with a minimum of 3 years in construction project management. Interpersonal and Professional Skills : Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a strong focus on quality, safety, and effective use of resources.
