My client is a large, well-respected fire business that employs over 100 employees. It is a family-run business covering Commercial, Industrial, and Residential buildings.Due to workload, they are seeking a Fire Pump Technician to join the team. Your new role As a Fire Pump Technician, you will report to the Fire Pump Supervisor, working independently and in a team to service and maintain Electric/Diesel Pumps in the field, servicing the company's major accounts. You will be in a roaming role, communicating with customers and clients in the field, troubleshooting and reporting defect findings to them and head office. Your responsibilities Service, repair, and maintenance of pumps Monthly & Annual testing Oil, valves, and filter changes For you to be successful Experience in the fire industry is highly desirable Experience in a field service Technician role is highly desirable Must be an excellent problem solver and technically minded Must be able to work autonomously Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to take a pre-employment medical Benefits for you Full technical and safety training will be provided as required Opportunities to grow Fully maintained vehicle, tools, uniform, and phone Work for a company with a proven track record and busy order book Competitive salary on offer depending on experience This could suit an experienced Mechanic with field sales experience looking for a change.
