Local, family owned business seeks a Fire Safety Advisor/Trainer with excellent customer service skills. Highly Regarded but not essential Experience in the fire safety or emergency management industries (e.g. auditing, training, assessing) Qld ‘Fire Safety Adviser’ qualification Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with clients Experience in Workplace Health and Safety (e.g. WH&S Officer) Experience in delivery fire safety training (i.e. First Response Evacuation Instructions, Warden training) Be familiar with Australian Standards AS3745-2010 and relevant building codes (i.e. Building Fire Safety Regulation) CPP20521 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing (highly desirable) Responsibilities Organisation and scheduling of Fire Safety Audits/Inspections at key large corporate clients. Compile Fire Safety Audit Reports for building compliance. Face-to-face client interaction—building strong and positive relationships with clients Liaison with key site representatives including ECO members. On-site fire safety assessment and reporting. Evacuation diagram drafting and computer design. Development and review of Fire Evacuation Plans Delivery of emergency preparedness training.
