Your Business & Team Financial Services partners with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice encompasses finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, and property. The Expenses and Financial Control team protects CommBank and our customers through automated reconciliations, financial accounting, and analytical reporting. We add value to our internal Finance customers through robust and scalable accounting practices, driving efficiency through technology-led innovation.The team comprises two Centres of Excellence: Staff Expenses & PACC Accounting: Focusing on financial control, providing Business Unit-specific reporting and insights. Expenses and Payments: Responsible for the Group's payments, fixed assets, and management of expenses and corporate credit cards. Your Impact & Contribution We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join one of our teams in The Expenses and Financial Control division within Financial Services.We have opportunities across three teams: Billing and Accounts Receivable Expenses and Corporate Cards Accounts Payable Your Role & Responsibilities Responsibilities vary from team to team and could include, but are not limited to: Process and validate invoices, credit notes, and payments. Maintain accurate corporate card details and track employee expenses. Maintain records for audit purposes and provide audit support. Provide valuable insights into the Group's spends on goods and services. Drive accountability across different teams, divisions, and business units. Assist in maintaining and improving financial systems and support system development and maintenance. Compliance and reporting. Simplification and automation. Reconciliations. System Maintenance. Expense reporting and enquiries. You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Vision and Values. Your Relationships Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including but not limited to: Other internal Finance teams including Business Unit Finance teams / Financial Controllers. Systems Accounting teams. Procurement. Finance Operational Risk & Control Teams (Line 1 Risk). Internal and external Audit. Your Skills and Experience Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. An understanding of reconciliation, analysis, investigations, and reporting. An understanding of Accounts Payable functions. Strong data entry and attention to detail skills. Influencing and communication skills. Problem-solving skills, continuous improvement mindset, and attention to detail. Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks. Required: Higher School Certificate. Desirable: Experience in employee expenses, corporate card management, billing, accounts payable, and receivable. Experience using PeopleSoft Financials. Experience using Microsoft Excel.
