Role Summary We are seeking a motivated professional to drive business growth in the fisheries sector across Australia and the South Pacific. This role combines sales, technical expertise, and client engagement within a fisheries monitoring, conservation, and surveillance environment. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, responding to enquiries, coordinating sales and marketing efforts, and providing first-level technical support when required. The position involves both domestic and international travel. Key Responsibilities Develop and expand the fisheries market in Australia and the South Pacific region. Respond to enquiries from existing and potential clients. Drive sales and marketing initiatives, including attending exhibitions, conferences, and workshops. Liaise with regional fisheries management organisations, local resellers, distributors, and certified installers. Provide first-level technical support when necessary. Undergo training on company products and services, with potential international training opportunities. Travel domestically and internationally as required to support business development and client engagement. Contribute to fisheries monitoring, conservation, management, and surveillance initiatives. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications – Trade or degree qualifications in Engineering, Business, Marine Science, GIS, or a related discipline.Sales & Business Development – Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within the maritime, fisheries, or environmental sectors.Technical Proficiency – Strong understanding of technical products and services, with the ability to provide first-level support.Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and technical writing.Industry Knowledge – Familiarity with fisheries monitoring, conservation, management, or surveillance is advantageous.Technology & Software – Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office 365.If you are a proactive professional passionate about marine conservation and business growth, we encourage you to apply and be part of a global leader in satellite-based solutions.
