We are currently seeking hard working, motivated people to join our team in the position of Fixed Plant Operators processing timber in our production areas. The successful candidates will be offered a permanent position, working 45 hours per week on a roster that covers both day and night shifts. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, requiring you to be on your feet for up to 12 hours per day. Responsibilities: Following safe work practices. Processing timber on an automated line. Maintaining a neat and tidy work environment. Manual handling of various timber products. Ensuring all aspects of product quality are met. Meeting performance and safety targets. Gaining a strong understanding of the production process. About you: Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment. Capable of completing practical tasks and following specified work instructions. A desire to learn and high level of enthusiasm to develop new skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with good problem-solving skills. A high commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail. Prior experience working shift work will be highly regarded. Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test. Must be able to obtain a clean national police clearance.
