FluTracking follows over 80,000 people each week in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Argentina, and Fiji tracking a wide range of respiratory illness including influenza, COVID-19, RSV.We are seeking a Project Officer to join our Health Protection Team at Hunter New England Population Health, where we monitor health threats, respond to communicable disease risks, and promote policies and behaviours that improve public health. Tasks vary day to day, but typically involve those associated with participant engagement, team collaboration, and daily workflow management.This Role Will See You Be Responsible For Strengthening participant recruitment Creating summary reports of disease activity Responding to inquiries from participants and research partners Supporting operational tasks Contributing to existing research projects, and opportunities to develop independent research projects About You This role demands adaptability and proactivity, balancing routine tasks with occasional urgent priorities. Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines are essential.
