Job Description
Job Title: F & B Event Supervisor The Venue: Are you passionate about the arts and entertainment industry? The Events Centre, Caloundra is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. With two theatres and a range of meeting spaces, the Events Centre is the Sunshine Coast’s top spot for all things arts, entertainment, and events. We’re all about creating amazing experiences and building a dynamic, values-driven team. Job Summary: As our Food & Beverage Events Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure all our catering and event services run smoothly. You'll ensure top-notch quality while creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities: Supervising teams of up to 20 staff. Assisting with cash handling and maintaining accurate transaction records. Helping with stock checks, policy updates, and staff training. Setting up and packing down venue spaces for events. Support event debriefs and contribute to team growth. Keep everyone safe and aligned with our health and safety standards. Skills and Experience Required: Supervision in events and hospitality. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bar work and cash handling. Ability to carry plates in a banquet environment. Barista experience is highly desirable Qualifications: Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate Responsible Management of Licensed Venues accreditation is desirable Hours: The role offers flexible hours and is dependent on events at the Centre. We are looking for individuals who can work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and both daytime and evening hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr
