Position Summary Step into the world of refined hospitality as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at our luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Sydney's CBD. This role is perfect for a passionate and service-driven professional who thrives in delivering an exceptional breakfast and lunch experience while upholding the highest Forbes and five-star service standards. The Role Oversee the daily operations of the breakfast buffet, ensuring seamless service and presentation that reflects luxury and excellence. Lead and inspire a team to provide an elevated guest experience, from warm welcomes to personalised touches. Work with the team to ensure all buffet stations are immaculately presented, replenished efficiently, and maintained to five-star quality. Uphold Forbes standards, ensuring attention to detail, intuitive service, and genuine hospitality. Work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure an exceptional and consistent dining experience. Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness. Be the Champion in menu knowledge of the restaurant and delivers stellar recommendations and food-beverage pairings to enhance guests' dining experience. Coordinate with Runners and Chefs on the length of wait, re-cook or special requests, as well as product availability. Analyze guest feedback from direct feedback, comment card or any online reviews and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating. Monitor the performances of team members and provide effective feedback for improvements, recognition and performance appraisal as due. Mentor and guide individual team members' growth and identify short to long-term goals to achieve and ensure high colleague engagement and welfare. Conducts the pre-service shift briefing in the absence of the Assistant Manager/Manager. Talent Profile General Education Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality Management with Restaurant specialization is preferred. Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within a luxury hotel or fine dining setting. Working knowledge of restaurant systems (Symphony/Seven Rooms). Excellent communicator with personable character and a passion in guest relations management. Good command of written and spoken English. Valid working rights in Australia. Available to work on a rotating roster (early mornings, weekends, and public holidays) across a 7-day operation, covering morning shifts (breakfast buffet service) and afternoon shifts (à la carte lunch).
