At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. Working alongside the Assistant Restaurants & Bars Manager and Food & Beverage Leaders, you will assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Restaurants and Bars across the Resort and, on occasion, Room Service. You will manage inventory, monitor rosters, and complete time sheet approvals. In this role, you will be a go-to for the team and manage their performance on shift. You will work in partnership with other areas of the Resort as well as with your dynamic and experienced team to continuously drive and identify product and guest experience enhancement opportunities. You will support the Food & Beverage Leadership team in encouraging and developing the team to deliver branded service whilst promoting the desired work culture. Day to Day Liaise and work collaboratively with Food & Beverage Management regarding daily duties. Constructively participate in team meetings, ensuring communication flows throughout the team. Support the development of the team to maximise performance and foster a great company culture. Ensure guest satisfaction and customer experience by following IHG policies and procedures. Assist and monitor rostering to ensure all shifts are covered to required levels. Order inventory based on outlet par levels, assist in inventory-taking as required, and help resolve discrepancies in inventory. Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within the immediate team and wider hotel team. Ensure all ongoing training for Food and Beverage Attendants is kept up to date. Lead the service period to keep the operation running smoothly and efficiently. Demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and procedures, ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines. Qualifications Qualification in Hospitality desirable. RSA Certificate. Experience Minimum 2 years experience in Bar Supervision. Knowledge of wines, beer, spirits, and whisky. Ability to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations, and recommend beverages or any other product pairing alongside our menus. Friendly persona. Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties reflecting the high standards of the hotel and the IHG brand. Time management skills, delegation, a drive for results, and strong employee engagement skills. Neat personal presentation.
