Mid Air is seeking a skilled and passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. Located on the 12th floor of Melbourne Place, Mid Air offers a stunning open-air rooftop dining experience with sweeping skyline views and a fusion of Mediterranean flavours. Responsibilities: Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences Supervise and coordinate food and beverage staff, including training, mentoring, and scheduling Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction Assist in managing inventory, controlling costs, and monitoring revenue Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain quality and consistency of food served Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently Assist with special events and functions as needed Monitor inventory levels, assist in developing and maintaining par levels, and control expenses while maximising revenue opportunities through strategic pricing and promotions. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in an upmarket dining environment Strong leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control Current RSA certification Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences #J-18808-Ljbffr
