Food Safety and Vendor Assurance Coordinator Full-time At Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen, our mission has always been to reinvent fast-food. The Food Safety & Vendor Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across all Guzman y Gomez Restaurants in Victoria. Working collaboratively with Culinary, Operations Solutions, Customer Service and Operations departments, this role focuses on continuous improvement to reduce risk, simplify procedures and ensure 100% operational execution and brand protection via timely management of critical complaints, while also assisting in vendor assurance programs to guarantee the delivery of premium ingredients. The role: Food Safety Management Restaurant Visits & Coaching, ensuring compliance and consistency of food Ensure the delivery of high-quality ingredients and identify areas for improvement Proactively address challenges and drive innovation within the food safety program You’ll enjoy this role if you have: Degree in Food Science & Technology or a closely related field is required Strong experience in QSR restaurant operations, hospitality, or food & beverage highly desirable Excellent coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with food safety management systems Passionate about food safety and quality Ability to travel within Victoria and occasionally interstate What you'll love: We’re incredibly proud of our amazing people and always have each other’s backs.
