We are seeking a Food Service Assistant for our CraigCare Moonee Ponds Home on a Part-time/Casual basis . About Your Role As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals for our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will positively impact the wellbeing of our residents. What You Will Do Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff Ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards Understand residents' special dietary requirements Execute infection control initiatives What You Will Bring Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large kitchen) Excellent communication skills Ability to work as a team player Flexibility to work varied shifts Previous aged care experience in kitchen operations Sound knowledge of food safety standards Provide NDIS clearance and rights to work Culture and Benefits Learning & Development : With over 40 years’ experience, we have created a culture and environment for our staff to learn and grow with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
