Your opportunity To assist in the provision of a high-quality nutrition and food service to patients/clients of Mackay Base Hospital. This position will be responsible for a 7-day week support service, providing patient meals. It is a support role to Menu Monitors, Cooks, Dietitians, Speech Pathologists, Team Leader, Supervisor, and Manager of Food and Linen. About The Team The Mackay Hospital provides a comprehensive healthcare environment that has been designed with a patient-friendly approach to layout and location of services. Food Services provides approximately 200 meals three times a day to patients of the hospital, as well as three mid meals daily. Food is prepared using a Cook Fresh service model under strict Food Safety Guidelines.About Our Hospital And Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
