We are seeking a Food Systems Cost Controller as part of our National Hospitality and Catering Contract in our Defence sector. This role can be based out of any Ventia office, with flexible working conditions available. Your responsibilities will include the following: Maintain 100% COS across all sites Apply in a timely manner all supplier discounts across all applicable bases Maintain Jamix price integrity with current market rates. Reduction in food overspend by 60% year on year Monitor purchases of all sites to ensure they remain within weekly allocated budget Food Spend using Jamix and FBT data. Work with Bases to ensure forecasts loaded in Jamix are Accurate. Approve overspends in consultation with base OSM. Reporting any overspends to EMOS and ROM. Update Jamix system with current weekly market pricing for all food items on current cyclic menu. Review all base shopping lists to ensure they are accurate and only contain items required by current menu or specified function. Accurately input recipes for each cyclic menu into Jamix System. Accurately input recipes for Functions and ad-hoc seasonal menu changes including base specific dishes. Communicate specials offered by national suppliers to National Executive chef so savings can be incorporated in weekly menus. Adjust weekly shopping list to reflect menus adjustments triggered by supplier specials. Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ): Comply with Ventia’s Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment management systems, including statutory obligations. Consistently deliver excellent Risk and HSEQ results. Drive for zero harm and relentlessly pursues safety. Act as a role model for a positive HSE culture in the workplace; encourage people managers and team leaders in his/her business unit to do the same. Customer Service Provide Customer experiences that enhance Defence Capability and create a positive impact for our client, customer, and the community.
