Forensic Accountant - Disputes & Valuations An exciting opportunity exists for a Forensic Accountant specialising in Disputes and Business Valuation to join this prestigious firm. Due to continued success, the firm is expanding and looking to add to their friendly, high performance team. Working with leading experts you will have the opportunity to work on fascinating, often high profile cases and expand your knowledge and skills in disputes and litigation. Responsibilities include: Performing company valuations - help calculate and report on the true value of a company in relation to dispute and provide commentary on a company's financial strength, through trend and ratio analysis. Creating financial models for quantification of claims. Assisting experts to identify financial and accounting issues in relation to loss of profit, loss of value or damage. Performing transaction analysis of claims. Reviewing and analysing financial statements. Preparing Expert reports that will be used in Australian court proceedings. To be successful: You will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA. Have forensic accounting experience - ideally disputes, business valuations/calculating losses OR from Transactions or Corporate Finance with valuations experience. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Work is extremely varied and stimulating and can include working on international cases. Far greater autonomy than other firms. Salary dependent on experience and level from A$125,000 to A$160,000 package including super. We require candidates to have full permanent Australian Working rights.
