About the Role As the Growth & Support Specialist - NSW/ACT, you’ll be the go-to advisor for Franchise Partners across the Total Fitouts network, providing high-level coaching, training, and business insights to drive both growth and compliance. This is a hands-on role requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide Franchise Partners through financial planning, sales strategies, and operational best practices. Your previous experience in the Construction Industry will ensure you are confident in assessing fitouts, understanding what works and what doesn’t, and providing expert guidance on business performance, compliance, and process execution. Support Franchise Partners with business coaching and training to improve performance. Assess fitout projects critically, identifying quality, risk, and areas for improvement. Conduct regular check-ins, business and financial reviews, and compliance assessments to maintain franchise standards and mitigate risks. Lead Franchise Partner Training and onboarding for your respective regions, including supporting the Franchise Partners to understand our systems and processes. Guide Franchise Partners on sales, systems, marketing, profitability strategies and operational improvements, working closely with internal departments such as marketing, systems, and finance in addition to our external legal and HR advisors. Build strong relationships with Franchise Partners, suppliers, corporate clients, and key stakeholders to drive engagement and growth. Ensure compliance with franchise systems, contracts, and industry regulations. Support in managing complex client situations, providing expertise in both construction and business development. What You'll Bring Industry knowledge – Experience in fitout, construction, or franchising, ideally with a background as a business owner in the construction sector (preferably commercial fitouts) or as a project manager in commercial fitouts. Business coach & mentor – Strong experience in franchising, business development, or operations with a proven ability to coach at a high level and direct people effectively. Strong communicator – Skilled in relationship-building, coaching, and training, with the ability to engage confidently with corporate clients. Problem-solver – Proactive and solutions-focused, capable of handling complex challenges with professionalism. Operational expertise – Experience working within a structured company, using estimating systems, safety systems, and industry best practices. Financial and sales acumen – Ability to understand and advise on sales pipelines, financials, and profitability strategies using our tools and templates. Technology & written skills – Proficient in digital tools and documentation, ensuring clear communication and operational efficiency. Ability to travel – A valid driver's license with the ability to visit Franchise Partners weekly, plus travel for key franchise events both across Australia and internationally. This role requires a candidate who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, capable of building relationships while providing expert guidance across business operations, construction processes, and client management. This is a remote working from home role that will require weekly site visits to our Franchise Partner locations throughout Sydney and the ACT.
