Base pay range A$80,000.00/yr - A$80,000.00/yr Company Your new company has multiple successful decades of experience within Australia servicing a variety of international clients. They are an Australian owned and operated freight forwarder who are looking for an experienced forwarder to join their team. Role In your role as the freight forwarder you will be responsible for organising end to end sea and air freight imports as well as some exports. You will be coordinating all shipping requirements including cargo registration, brokerage, transport planning, billing, and reconciliation. You will also be doing quoting and providing customer service as required to your clients. Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: 2 + years of experience in a similar freight forwarding role In-depth understanding of either end-to-end import or export process Ideally Cargowise experience or experience with similar systems A keen eye for detail whilst managing multiple tasks While not prior quoting experience will be highly desirable Rewards In return you will enjoy the safety and security of a permanent role with great work life balance as well as 2 working from home days per week.
