Position Summary: As a Front Counter Sales/Stores at On-Crete Australia Pty Ltd, you will support our trade store operations and contribute to the overall sales of the company. Working under the supervision of the Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting both trade and DIY customers with their inquiries and purchases, and promoting our range of decorative concrete products, concrete sealers, concrete resurfacing solutions, epoxy flooring resin, concrete tools, and painter tools. Your focus will be on assisting with sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient trade store. This role is ideal for someone with a trade background in the painting, concrete treatment, rendering, or building industries who is eager to learn and grow within the company. The role would be great for someone wanting to come off the tools and take on responsibilities which are a little less physical. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers. Understand customers' needs and advise on appropriate product solutions. Process sales transactions using an Advanced MYOB sales order and invoicing system. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers. Ensure the store is well-presented, clean, and organized at all times. Monitor and manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing products. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up. Assist in resolving customer complaints or concerns, ensuring a positive resolution. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in the painting, concrete treatment, rendering, or building industries as a tradesman or in sales/customer service role. Knowledge of decorative concrete products, construction materials, or related industries is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sales skills to effectively promote products. Good organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and store displays. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues. Great computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale, ERP, or MRP systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to client sites or trade events. Forklift license is desirable.
