Full Stack Developer (WordPress and MERN Stack) Employment Status: Full Time Experience Requirements: Minimum 4 years Details: Work hours: 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Melbourne Time) Monday to Friday Needed ASAP Job Location: Remote About the Role: We are seeking a Full-Stack WordPress Developer with expertise in Custom WordPress Development and familiarity with the MERN stack. You will be responsible for developing, optimising, and maintaining WordPress-based solutions while having a working understanding of MERN technologies to collaborate effectively with our existing team. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless project execution and a smooth transition as part of our strategic hiring plan. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability. Implement custom themes and plugins tailored to business needs. Ensure responsive and optimised designs for an excellent user experience. Collaborate with the MERN stack team to integrate and support full-stack development requirements. Debug, test, and document software solutions effectively. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and development stand-ups. Maintain best coding practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Requirements: Strong expertise in Custom WordPress Development, including theme and plugin development from scratch. Expert in converting pixel-perfect responsive UI design to WordPress. Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations. Familiarity with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to collaborate with the team. Experience working with Strapi CMS. Experience with Git and version control systems. Understanding of SEO principles, website security, and performance optimisation. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of headless WordPress implementations. Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment strategies will be a plus.
