Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Function & Bar Manager to join the Tiffany’s Maleny team. Working with unsurpassed views of the Glasshouse Mountains, Tiffany’s Maleny welcomes 2 hospitality superstars to take control of the function & event operation both front of house & within the bar environments. Hosting over 150 weddings, functions & events each year, Tiffany’s Maleny offers the right candidates a perfect work-life balance and a hospitality experience unlike any other. About The Role: Reporting directly to the General Manager & Executive Chef, the successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day setup, pack down & coordination of both the function floor & bar environments. We are seeking career-minded hospitality professionals for these hands-on management roles. With experience preferred in functions, events, a la carte, floor & bar operations, the successful candidates will be responsible for the running of all events from a front of house & bar perspective. About You: Hands-on approach to management with a light-hearted & kind demeanor Ability to proactively lead and guide our events/functions team Hospitality professional who inspires others through training & support Passionate about all things food, beverage & customer service Ability to shape & drive young hospitality professionals Key Accountabilities: Hands-on management of all weddings, functions & events both front of house and in the bar environments, ensuring high standards of products & service are delivered Proactively develop and implement new processes & procedures to further perfect service & product delivery Provide a contact point for internal & external stakeholders including several different departments, company directors, suppliers, external vendors & more Work closely with the wedding coordination team to ensure successful handover & operation of events Work closely with back of house kitchen team to ensure perfect execution of weddings, functions and events Work closely with co-function & bar manager to ensure high levels of service & products are offered Manage staffing budgets to ensure business profitability Train & manage wedding, function & event staff, whilst ensuring all products, service & company values are met to the highest standard Your Skills & Experience: RSA (Qld) 2+ Years experience in similar function or restaurant management role High level of understanding of function management & logistics Possess high levels of communication skills & exceptional customer service Experienced in IMPOS POS (preferred) Proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences Strong leadership & organisational skills with a focus on great time management Barista experience (preferred but training can be provided) Cocktail bartending necessary with experience in bar menu creation highly regarded Role Requirements: 4 Weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading Enjoy Christmas, New Years & Easter off every year to enjoy with family & friends Wednesday to Sunday availability required Availability on weekends & nights a must Showcase immaculate grooming standards, leading by example Possess a fun, energetic, positive & kind attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
