Function and Sales Manager - Manningham Hotel Join to apply for the Function and Sales Manager - Manningham Hotel role at ALH Hotels Salary: $73,700 - $75,000 Base Salary + Super + Benefits Location: Located in the heart of the eastern suburbs and just ten minutes from Melbourne's central business district. Job Description The Manningham Hotel is well established in the market for holding social and corporate specialized events & functions. We have multiple function spaces to house both small and large functions that you will successfully organise and deliver. What You’ll Do Assist with the design, costing and organising of function packages Establish and maintain a customer database Make sales calls, follow-up and secure sales in a timely manner Coordinate function sales initiatives (if applicable) Prepare quotes on a timely basis i.e. within 24 hours Liaise with suppliers and contractors for the functions business Update and maintain promotional materials including online mediums Qualifications What you’ll need: Display a genuine passion and flair for the industry, love what you do and be a team player with a hands-on attitude Prior experience in functions sales leadership with an ability to develop people Proven ability to develop strategic plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage inbound enquiries for functions on a multi-site basis and maintain a comprehensive client database using a Function Management System Flexible availability The benefits are good too!
