Job Description

Functional Consultant - D365 FO/ Dynamics AX We are seeking a skilled and motivated Functional Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) and Dynamics AX for one of our clients in technology. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation: Analyze client business processes and identify areas where D365 FO/Dynamics AX solutions can be applied. Configure and implement Dynamics 365 FO modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Retail, or other relevant areas based on business needs. Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Create detailed functional requirement specifications and design documents. System Testing and Support: Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution integrity. Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot issues as needed. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Develop user manuals and conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders. Assist in the transition of knowledge to in-house teams for system maintenance and upgrades. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful solution deployment. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365 FO. Hands-on experience in at least two modules, such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing. Strong understanding of business processes, including finance, procurement, sales, and inventory. Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and create functional specifications. Experience in system configuration, customization, and deployment. Knowledge of integration with third-party systems and tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX. Experience in Power BI, Power Platform, or Azure integrations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Understanding of local compliance and regulatory requirements.
