GENERAL LABOUR - ASSEMBLY Summary: To prepare details for Assembly process Full Time (Periodic Rotating Shifts) Responsibilities: Clean Black Oxide from details Remove sharp edges on details to be assembled Secure, measure and work raw metal stock to prepare for assembly Operate a variety of hand and power tools to shape work piece to prescribed finish Keep details organized and work to the job priority - Other general labour duties as required Qualifications: Experience operating machine shop equipment (Bridgeport mill, lathe, grinder, tumbler) 1-3 years of working experience in the manufacturing assembly setting Knowledge of check fixtures, jigs and gauges is a strong asset - Ability to read blueprints Ability to utilize measurement instruments (caliper, micrometer, gauge block) - Good attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
