Symbio’s test results underpin consumer confidence, and the Quality Assurance team ensures the integrity of these transactions. Our Brisbane Head Office is seeking a dedicated GMP Quality Officer to help uphold our commitment to excellence. The Role As the GMP Quality Officer, you will oversee and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with GMP requirements and industry regulations. Key responsibilities include: Implementing and maintaining processes and policies to ensure Symbio has the required standards and accreditations to operate under GMP requirements across all sites: Ensure compliance with TGA, APVMA, maintain licenses; improve, update, and maintain the QMS, eQMS, Quality Record life cycle, SOPs & records; conduct internal audits & provide support during external audits; initiate, monitor and analyse trends of CAPAs, oversee OOS investigations; and other tasks as required. Maintaining training systems: Facilitate & ensure all staff are trained in GMP quality system, and records are up to date; and other tasks as required. Reviewing and maintaining client GMP agreements in conjunction with relevant account manager/s. Business Requirements: Manage customer complaints; review laboratory data, computer systems, and audit trails; QA approval of reports & CoA's, compliance with laboratory quality control; and other tasks as required. Service/Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of standards and accreditations for general communication with internal and external stakeholders, stay abreast of new developments within the testing industry to make recommendations for improvements; and other tasks as required. About You The ideal candidate will bring: Minimum science degree or diploma with appropriate experience in a pharmaceutical environment, or industry experience in lieu of qualifications (essential). Minimum 3 years experience working with quality (PIC/s) systems (essential). Experience working in quality control within a laboratory environment (essential). Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to network with others, manage their own workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
