Job Description
Busy medical centre located in the western suburbs of Melbourne is looking for an additional GP to join their team. Busy patient base Friendly team 65% billing $120 per hour min guarantee 15 miles from Melbourne CBD and 6 miles from the Coast The Role This is a busy mixed billing clinic which has been open since early 2015. The practice is owned by two GPs, who also work in the clinic. There are 7 GPs in total who work a mixture of part and full time. They are looking for a full time GP to cover weekdays and be part of the weekend roster due to patient demand as they are turning patients away. Purpose Built Clinic completed and opened in June 2015. There are 8 consulting rooms and 2 well-equipped treatment rooms. GPs are supported by full time nurses, a practice manager, and Allied Health: Physio, Clinical Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, Cosmetic nurse, Visiting Surgeon 2 days a week, an on-site Dental clinic, Pathology, and Pharmacy. They aren’t looking for any specific special interests, but skills/interests within women’s health, paediatrics, or minor surgery would be beneficial as the patient base has a lot of young families. 65% billings – 70% on weekends and public holidays Minimum hourly guarantee for settling in period The Location Situated 25 minutes' drive from Melbourne CBD, on a busy street intersection, with private schools, primary schools, and childcare centres nearby, and public transport availability opposite the clinic.
