About The Role Gaming Manager - Austral Hotel $73,700 base salary, plus super Development Opportunities Located on the corner of Victoria & Peel Streets in Mackay's CBD, the Austral Hotel has had a reputation for years as the best Steakhouse in town. Our menu offers a variety of premium cuts of beef, along with an array of other menu items and a fine selection of wines. What You’ll Do Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Gaming room. Lead and develop a team to ensure an outstanding guest experience every time. Coordinate training for the team to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Ensure we maintain exceptional presentation standards of the Venue. Implement and champion the Venue’s Responsible Gambling Code. What You’ll Need Gaming experience within a Venue. Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture. Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets. Current RSA and RSG/RCG are essential. The desire to be part of a fun, productive, and professional team. The benefits are good too!
