We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager Dairy Operations to lead and manage all operations of our farms, ensuring efficient day-to-day activities, sustainable practices, and growth opportunities. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of farm operations, including dairy production, livestock care, feed management, and health & safety protocols Lead a team of farm workers, supervisors, and managers, ensuring training, development, and morale remain high Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimise operational costs to meet financial targets Ensure all farms meets health, safety, and environmental regulations and certifications Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standard of product output Develop long-term strategies for growth, efficiency, and sustainability, with a focus on animal welfare and product innovation Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry stakeholders SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: Proven experience in dairy farm management or a similar agricultural leadership role Strong understanding of dairy production, livestock care, and farm operations Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyse financial reports Familiarity with agricultural regulations and sustainability practices Strong computer literacy with the ability to understand and analyse dairy system data A degree in agriculture, farm management, or a related field (preferred) A passion for sustainable farming and animal welfare What We Offer: Competitive remuneration Employee rewards program Opportunity for career progression within our global organisation Safe and supportive work environment by providing an Employee Assistance Program Apply now by sending your updated CV to The Midfield Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
