About the Opportunity: RAAFA is seeking an accomplished General Manager – Home Care to lead and drive the strategic development of RAAFA Home Care . This leadership role will be pivotal in expanding the reach of our services, exploring new markets, and ensuring that the needs of our clients are met with the highest standard of care. The General Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, building strong relationships with key partners, and ensuring operational efficiencies to support sustainable success. This position also oversees governance, financial management, and risk management to ensure long-term sustainability and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand home care services, identify new markets, and drive business growth, ensuring alignment with RAAFA’s purpose, including bespoke services for veterans. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a cohesive home care team, fostering innovation in service delivery, and coaching emerging leaders to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction. Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with RAAFA stakeholders, government bodies, funding providers, industry partners, and clients to enhance service delivery and maintain a strong community presence. Operational Efficiency & Performance: Monitor and improve the performance of home care services, ensuring growth is aligned with key performance targets, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and development. Governance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to government regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Stay updated on legislative changes and proactively manage risks and opportunities to maintain operational excellence. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualification in human services or a related field. Significant senior leadership experience within the People/Service sector, with a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence. Extensive experience in home and community care, with a strong background in business development and service expansion. In-depth knowledge of current Government requirements relating to Home Care Services, including compliance and funding models. Understanding of and experience in working with Quality systems in an Aged/Community Care or health environment, ensuring services meet high standards of care. Demonstrated leadership and management experience in leading, developing, and motivating teams, with a focus on performance management and achieving business objectives. Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, revenue streams, and strategic planning. Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic environment. Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software. Current National Police Clearance and valid WA driver’s licence.
